Wood pellets are very dry due to the baking process that creates them. Simply add a bit of water and the pellets expand while you watch into soft fluffy sawdust. The bedding is hypoallergenic, unlike straw, so no chest problems. It makes grooming easier. Horses won’t eat it (like straw). It’s faster to muck out and better insulation.
